Here is a advertisement. Looks pretty ain't it? I know. Sad stuff is that its stolen from wikipedia. Image clicked by Arun Ganesh, a photography hobbyist and a wikipedia contributor who writes under the pen name of PlaneMad. This is not the first time he is being robbed though, its happened before a huge newspaper publication about a year back.

Read his Blog post for more details. This time its by a print ad company called Mudra and its for a lakh's of worth campaign ad.

If you are an Indian whose pictures have been stolen by a member/representative of the Indian Press or if you are a non Indian who's images have been used without consent by the Indian press then you could probably start off with your long, legal battle by looking for information here.

What you would need here is a Gmail ID (Google email address) so that you can make use of blogger service. If you would like your problem to be featured here please send us the exact material you would want to be posted here. Email your information in plain text / Rich Text / PDF / Microsoft Word 1997 - 2003 (*.doc) or Microsoft Word 2007 (*.docx) format. Images will be accepted in JPEG / GIF / PNG format and should be lesser than 1 MB in size.
